The selected Law Clerks will be stationed at the Islamabad High Court’s Research Centre and will primarily be responsible for conducting legal and academic research. To be eligible candidates must possess a law degree recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan whether it be a local or foreign degree such as an LLB JD or Bar-at-law. Additionally candidates must have completed their law degree no more than three years ago and must have achieved a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or an upper second-class honors (2.1) in the case of a UK degree. Applicants should be Pakistani citizens and under the age of 30 at the time of application.
Applicants must submit a comprehensive application pack that includes a prescribed application form a detailed CV not exceeding three pages and a legible photocopy of their law degree(s). They also need to provide two reference letters from academic supervisors or law firms with at least one letter from the academic institution. If the candidate is employed the second letter should be from their current law firm; if unemployed the second letter can also be from the academic institution.
